New filters, a fresh community, and your most requested features

Nomadlio took off on Reddit - here’s what we built, what’s next, and how to join us.

Last week, we shared Nomadlio on Reddit for the first time. The response was incredible - 700+ upvotes, 10K+ visitors, and 550+ new signups in just a few days.

If you found us through Reddit: welcome! We’re genuinely grateful 🙏

We also received a lot of feedback and feature requests - and we listened.

🌍 Join The Slack Community

We just opened a brand new Slack community for digital nomads and you’re invited.

The goal is to help each other discover the best places to live and work, connect with like-minded nomads, and learn from others on a similar path - so you don’t have to go at it alone.

It’s early days, but we’re excited to build this together with you ⬇️

🚀 What We Shipped Since

We added your feature features to our public roadmap and got to work. Here are the most notable updates:

  • Currency Selector - View all prices in your preferred currency

  • Temperature Unit Toggle - Switch between °C and °F

  • Timezone Filter - Choose your base timezone and working hours, then filter cities where the local time matches your desired schedule.

  • Rent & Cost of Living Graphs - See price distributions before filtering to better understand the cost landscape.

What We’re Working On

The most requested feature by far was the Map View. We started to work on it and aiming to roll it out in the next few weeks.

We're also working on:

  • Built in nomad accommodations data

  • Walkability & Public transport data + filters

  • User reviews

  • Option to bookmark cities

  • LGBT safety filters & scores

We’re tracking everything publicly.

You can see the full roadmap and vote on upcoming features here.

Thank you for reading,

Yair & Adi

P.S. If you haven’t joined yet, the Slack community is the best place to give feedback, ask questions, and connect with other nomads using Nomadlio.
